Pittsfield Better Block Concept Workshop

Better Block Project: A group of community organizers, neighbors, and property owners gather together to revitalize a single commercial block in an underused neighborhood corridor. Fill the block with bike lanes, cafe seating, trees, plants, pop-up businesses, and lighting. Show the city and the public how the block could be revived to improve area safety, health, and economics.

The Better Block concept will be presented for Tyler St. on Jul 11. After refreshments, we’ll split into our volunteer teams and visit the identified buildings and places to further discuss details and assign roles to individuals pledging to volunteer and assist with Build Week on August 23rd-25th.
