Back to School Backpack Giveaway

The Berkshire Eagle, Greylock Federal Credit Union, and other sponsors are pulling together to give out backpacks to children in need this upcoming school season. In addition to the giveaways, there will be free haircuts from 3-5, health checkups for the kids and financial tips for Mom and Dad.
Registration is not required. Backpacks will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Items that will be included in the backpack are: Water bottle • Crayons • Safe-scissors • Ruler • Notebook • Regular pencils Pencil sharpener • Glue stick • Tissues
Students in the following schools/districts and organizations will be beneficiaries of this program: Adams-Cheshire School District • Berkshire Children and Families • Berkshire Dream Center • Berkshire Hills School District • BART Charter Public School • Boys & Girls Club of Pittsfield Central Berkshire School District • Gladys Allen Brigham Community Center • Kidzone • Lee School District • Lenox School District • North Adams School District • Pittsfield School District Southern Berkshire Regional School District • Tot Spot • Williamstown School District • YMCA • Berkshire County Head Start
Berkshire Eagle, Greylock Federal Credit Union y otros patrocinadores se están uniendo para entregar mochilas a los niños necesitados en esta próxima temporada escolar. Además de los obsequios, habrá cortes de cabello gratis de 3-5, chequeos de salud para los niños y consejos financieros para mamá y papá.
No es necesario registrarse. Las mochilas se entregarán por orden de llegada. Los artículos que se incluirán en la mochila son:
Botella de agua • Crayones • Tijeras de seguridad • Regla • Cuaderno • Lápices regulares
Sacapuntas • Barra de pegamento • Tejidos
